June 3, Kathmandu. A 15-year-old girl from Sankhuwasabha was found raped by 3 people in Kathmandu after luring her to get a job.
On January 15, 2079, the girl who ran away from her house in Sankhuwasabha was repeatedly raped where she took refuge in Kathmandu.
The police have arrested 37-year-old Ramchandra Tamang of Rasuwa, 36-year-old Mingma Tamang and 26-year-old Ajay Limbu of Sankhuwasabha for being involved in the rape. Limbu is an employee of Nepal Police.
According to District Police Complex, Kathmandu, the victim fled from her house in Sankhuwasabha and initially stayed with a relative in Satdobato, Lalitpur.
‘After staying there for 3-4 days, I stayed in the dera room of Ajay Limbu, the brother of an acquaintance from the village in Baneshwar, that’s where I got to know Ashish Rai’, the victim said, ‘I got to know him when he kept coming to Limbu’s room. After that, he told me that no one else lives in my room, I will find a job to stay there, I went.’
According to him, Ajay Limbu used to visit Rai’s room from time to time. According to the victim, while he was sleeping in a room in Tarakeshwar Municipality-5, Limbu suddenly came to his room at around 12 midnight on February 4.
“At night, he suddenly came to the room I was in, locked the door and forced you by saying that he was looking for a job in a better place”, she said, “When I resisted, he showed fear and panic.”
She said that after being threatened to do anything to anyone, she stayed there silently.
“When I was sitting in Rai’s room, on 10th of February, Ashish also came and forced me to say that I love you a lot and will also give me a good job,” said the victim.
At that time, he became acquainted with Mira Tamang, who was camping near him. She offered to stay and work in her house, saying ‘there is no one left for you in Kathmandu’.
“After I said I would find a job in a better place, I also said yes. I have been living in his room since March,” the victim adds, “At first he was alone, later his cousin came from the village.”
On 24 Chait 2079, Mingma came to the room with 3-4 friends. She said that at that time, her sister, brother and friends were drinking alcohol.
“At that time, 3 of Vena’s friends had returned home, one of them was staying in Tamang’s room at Ramchandra Tamang Ming”, the victim said, “After that, I denied that today you slept in the same room with Ramchandra and we slept in our room. However, he again said that sleeping in the same room with Ramchandra would not happen.’
However, Kitani reported to the police that she was raped by Tamang by putting a chukul on the door in the middle of the night. “Tamang raped me with various threats and threats, after doing wrong things to me, I even ran away,” she says.
According to the police, the girl has been pregnant for more than two months now. After conception, this incident came out through various people and reached the family. The victim said that she did not know that the child was raped. Police have also taken samples for DNA testing.
The victim’s brother came to Kathmandu and lodged a complaint at the Police Circle, Balaju.
Based on the same complaint, the police completed the investigation and sent the investigation report with opinion to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office, Kathmandu. Based on the report, the public prosecutor filed a case in District Court, Kathmandu.
In that regard, SP Sitaram Rizal of District Police Complex, Kathmandu, told Online Khabar that the court had ordered to send the three people to remand on Sunday.
