Dalit woman climbs water tank in Rajasthan demanding immediate arrest of her rapist

The case is from Rajasthan where today on Monday morning, a Dalit woman climbed on a water tank demanding the arrest of her rapist. When the police came to know about this
, they immediately reached there and convinced the woman to come down.
Demand for immediate arrest:
Actually, this case is related to the rape case registered against Pappu Gujjar on 16 January. The victim had climbed the water tank near the District Collector’s office on Monday morning, 12th February, to demand the immediate arrest of the accused.
Seeing this incident, the Dalits of the area also started demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
Safety net also installed:
Dalits of the area expressed anger over the police not taking immediate action against the accused. After this the police officer climbed onto the tank and convinced the woman to come down. Women police personnel also installed a security net near the tower. Police said the woman is in the custody of Philhas police of another district. This entire matter is being investigated by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DCP).
