UP: Two Dalit teenagers brutally beaten in the same police station area of Hardoi!
In one case the police registered an FIR, in the other case they refused to take action.

Hardoi. A case of beating of two Dalit teenagers has come to light within a week in Hardoi district of UP. In one case, a teenager was held hostage and beaten, a video of this incident has also been made. Now this video is viral on social media. Police swung into action after the video went viral. In another case, the police registered an FIR and started investigation.
Both the cases are from Pali police station area of Hardoi district. Murari Chowkidar, resident of Ramanagariya village, told The Mooknayak – ‘The incident happened two days ago (06 May 2024). My son Ajit was coming home from the market in the morning. Meanwhile, on the way, Ramkishan along with his son Avneesh caught hold of my son. Anupam, along with Ramnivas and the servant, kicked, punched and strangulated the son.
Murari alleges, ‘My son has been held hostage and beaten after being accused of stealing one quintal of wheat. The accused also used caste based abuses at my son. When the villagers arrived, the accused released the son. In this matter we made a written complaint in the police station, but the police station did not take any action. We complained to CO Sahib after which he ordered action.
A video of the entire incident is also going viral on social media, in which some people are beating the teenager and the teenager is seen crying. Pali police station chief Arvind Rai told The Mooknayak that a complaint letter has been received from the teenager’s mother Sarla. Investigation is being done on the basis of complaint and video.
Student beaten on suspicion of stealing mangoes
The incident took place with the minor son of Puttan Lal Raidas, a resident of Kurshaili village of Pali police station area. Raidas tells The Mooknayak – ‘My son Suraj is a student of ninth class. He was returning from school on 3 May 2024. During this time my son plucked a mango from the mango tree of younger son Santosh. The younger one caught hold of my son. During this time, he caught hold of my son and beat him up and abused him in caste based abuses. I have complained about the matter in the police station.
In this case, on the complaint of Putan Lal Raidas, the police have registered a case under SC/ST sections including IPC section 504,506. In this case, police station in-charge Arvind Rai told The Mooknayak – ‘In this case, a case has been registered on the complaint of the father of the victim student. The police is investigating the matter
