Dalit man strangled to death in Azamgarh, dead body found in sugarcane field
A Dalit youth was strangled to death (Murder) in Powai, Azamgarh. The deceased had left the house at night, in the morning his dead body was found in the sugarcane field.

The deceased Pradeep Kumar left the house on Monday night while talking to someone on mobile. When Pradeep did not return home till late night, the family started looking for him. But he did not get it at night. At around seven o’clock on Tuesday morning, some women went to the farm to take livestock. Meanwhile, women saw Pradeep’s body in the field. There was chaos in the family on the information of women. Hundreds of villagers gathered on the occasion.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in its possession and sent it for postmortem. The incident is under investigation. A round of murders continues in the district
Let us tell that in the last few days many murders have taken place in Azamgarh district. For example, double murder in Devgaon, double murder in connivance with Nizamabad Police, shot dead Powai BDC and BJP leader, beaten to death by Sadhu in Mubarakpur. In total, Azamgarh has been shaken by the incident of ten heinous murders. There is anger among the people against the police for these incidents.
SP Sudhir Kumar Singh said that the deceased used to take people across the river by boat in the river near Pradeep village. On Monday evening, he reached home by the river and gave money to his mother and left the house. His body was found in the sugarcane field in the morning. Seeing the dead body, it was found that he was killed at some other place and later the body was brought and thrown into the sugarcane field. The incident is under investigation.
