The police has not been able to arrest the youth accused of molesting a Class 10 Dalit girl returning home from school. There is anger among family members.
According to the information, a Dalit girl resident of a village in Kotwali area went to study at Manota’s school on Monday morning. In the afternoon she was dropping out of school after studying. It is alleged that during this time, a young man from another community, who was standing at the gate, grabbed the hand of the student. He started molesting her. The student made a noise. A crowd gathered on the spot, the accused escaped. The victim reached home. Gave information to family The family brought him to the police station. Tahrir against the accused. On the basis of Tahrir, the police registered a report against the accused Nisar Putra Ansar, a resident of Machrai. The accused is absconding since then. Kotwal Neeraj Kumar said that efforts were made to arrest the accused.
