Uttar Pradesh: For forgetting a word, teacher beats Dalit student so much that he fractured his leg!
Lucknow. The case of thrashing of a Dalit student in Auraiya, UP, had not yet cooled down that in Firozabad, a teacher brutally thrashed a Dalit student for not remembering the lesson, due to which the student’s leg was broken. Police is investigating the whole matter.

Yogendra Pratap Singh Jatav, a resident of Garhi Hansram village of Narkhi police station area of Firozabad in UP said, “My son Dhruv Singh Jatav is a student of class one in the primary school of Garhi Hansram. On September 27, the son had gone to school. My son was beaten up by the teacher in the school at 11 am. I came to know about this. I reached the school and went through the whole matter.”
He further said, my son told ‘Raghavendra sir had given a lesson for everyone to remember. When I was reciting them, I forgot a word in it. On this the teacher abused me badly. beat me with a stick My leg is hurt. I can’t walk. I have a pain in my leg.’
Yogendra Pratap Singh has given a written complaint to the regional police station in this entire matter. Yogendra Singh says that the copy of the FIR has not been received yet. However, the police is talking about investigation in this matter.
Student dies after beating in Auraiya
In Achhanda area of Auraiya, last Saturday, a Dalit student was beaten up by a teacher for writing social science wrong in the subject while filling the copy during the social science examination. The student died after being hospitalized for 18 days. In this case, the police has registered a case on the complaint of the father. The police are yet to arrest the accused teacher. According to SP Auraiya, more than 6 places have been raided so far. The accused has absconded with his wife. He will be arrested soon.
