Uttar Pradesh. In a private school in the village of Asmoli police station in Sambhal district, a case has come to light in which a teacher beat up a Dalit student by calling him a caste related word. The 11-year-old victim is a Class 5 student. The incident of beating a Dalit student by a teacher calling him a casteist word spread like wildfire in the area. Bhim Army workers also got information about the incident. After which the workers reached the school in large numbers and demanded action against the teacher. On receiving information about the crowd in the school, the local police force reached the spot.
A panchayat was called in the school in this matter. In this Panchayat the teacher apologized in writing and orally. Instead of taking any legal action, this matter was hushed up on the spot. Now this matter has completely calmed down.
The whole matter is of Padarathpur village of Asmoli police station area of Sambhal district. Surendra’s 11-year-old son Deepanshu, who lives in the village, is a 5th class student in a private school in the village. According to the information received, the teacher had planted saplings in the school premises. These plants were uprooted by some student. It is alleged that the teacher became suspicious of Deepanshu in this incident. After which the teacher beat Deepanshu by calling him a casteist word. The marks of beating were clearly visible on the student’s face. Her eyes were red due to crying a lot. When the student’s father asked the reason for this, the student told the entire incident to his father.
When Bhim Army got information about the incident, they all reached the school in large numbers and started creating ruckus. Students and their families were also present with them. The local police also got information about the crowd in the school. After receiving the information, the police also reached the spot. District coordinator Adarsh Kumar Azad, associated with Bhim Army, posted the entire matter on his social media account After which there was panic among the police and administration. Bhim Army officer and police called the teacher who beat him. The teacher did not arrive for a long time. After which there was a fear of increasing uproar in the school. During this time, Panchayat was called in the school. After which the teacher also reached school. In the Panchayat, the teacher folded hands and apologized to the families of the victim children.

In this matter, Asmoli police station in-charge Harish Kumar said that the matter has been settled by both the parties in the Panchayat. Further action will be taken upon receiving the complaint. Bhim Army’s district convenor Adarsh Kumar Azad said that the teacher had beaten the Dalit student studying in class 5. Caste suggestive words were used. The teacher has apologized in the Panchayat.
