Bangladesh: Minor Hindu girl converted to Islam, forcibly made a Muslim, Jamaat-e-Islami accused

Ritu suddenly disappeared from her home a few days ago. On Sunday she suddenly appeared on Facebook and released a video declaring that she has converted to Islam.

Nov 25, 2024,

Islamic fundamentalism in Bangladesh is looking incurable like cancer. The Islamic fundamentalist government led by Muhammad Yunus is maintaining silence on the atrocities being committed against Hindus, the result of which is that temples are being attacked every day and people are being forcibly converted to Islam. The latest case is being reported from Bagerhat district, where a Hindu girl Ritu Chakraborty was forcibly converted to Islam and made a Muslim.

According to a report by Voice of Bangladeshi Hindu handle on social media site X, a minor Hindu girl Ritu Chakraborty was converted to Islam by the terrorist organization Jamaat e Islami.

X handle Hindu Post gave this news in detail and said that conversion of Hindu girls is going on in Bangladesh. Minor Ritu from Bagerhat suddenly disappeared from her home a few days ago. On Sunday, she suddenly came on Facebook and released a video saying that she has converted to Islam. She says the same thing that many trapped, blackmailed Hindu girls say after their brainwashing and conversion. She said that she has become a Muslim of her own free will. Since the law and government have failed in Bangladesh, we may see more such cases in the future.

In the shared video, Ritu rst says ‘Assalam Wale Kum’ in a stuttering voice while avoiding the camera’s gaze. After this, she tells about herself.
Ritu also tells that she is doing BA, she is intelligent and she has taken this step on her own will. Along with this, she also says that she does not believe in caste, religion, sect, so she embraced Islam. Looking
downwards in the video, Ritu says that her parents were not ready for this, but still she took this step on her own will.
The question is that if she has really accepted Islam of her own free will, then why did she not look at the camera with condence even once in the entire video message? What is she looking at her side again and at her side again and again? Whenever Ritu spoke, she spoke looking downwards. It seemed as if she was given a script to read? Many such questions have started arising from Ritu’s video.
