Bullies set fire to Dalit’s hut, politics hot

In Ashiknagar village of Magjganj police station area, Bekhouf Dabangs beat up a Dalit’s house and set the hut on fire. The victims allege that the domineering people set the hut on fire with the intention of burning them alive. Even after giving the information, the police did not take any action. Politics became hot as news spread. People from several organizations reached the spot and tied up the victims and demanded action.
Ranjit Bhargava has been living on the land of village society for a long time in village Ashik Nagar of Fatepur police chowki area. It is said that around 5 pm on Sunday evening, Khurramnagar resident Mohammad Latif, along with his son and six companions, came to Ranjit’s house. Latif asked Ranjith to vacate the land of the village society. A quarrel started on this matter. It is alleged that Latif entered into the house with his companions and started beating women-daughters and children with sticks. On protest, he set fire to the hut house in broad daylight. Due to this the people of the house are in panic. Due to domineering people are forced to flee in fear. It is alleged that the police did not take any cognizance even after giving the information of the case to the police post Fatepur.
Farmers Union gave strike
In connection with the Khurramnagar case, activists of the Indian Farmers Union Democratic staged a sit-in in the village to bring justice to the victims. On Monday morning, District President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Loktantrik Ramkrishna Gautam, District In-Charge Ramasnehi Gupta, District General Secretary Sandeep Pandey, District Vice President Sonu Kshatriya, Tehsil In-charge Shamsher Singh Boparai, Mukesh Gupta, City President Magalganj Vineet Vajpayee reached the spot. Taking information about the matter, started picketing on the spot. On receipt of information about the strike, CO Mitauli Sheetanshu Kumar reached the spot. He assured to file a case against the bullies. The District President said to continue the picket till arresting the accused. Farmer leaders submitted memorandum to Tehsildar Awadhesh Kumar who reached the spot. After the assurance of the Tehsildar, the people of the farmers union ended the picket.
People of Hindu Yuva Vahini also reached
District in-charge of Hindu Yuva Vahini Vipin Mishra, city president Abhishek Mishra, city vice president Ashish Tiwari etc. reached the spot with the entire team and gathered information about the case. Seeking to prosecute the culprits, writing the case.
An accused arrested
Seeing the matter caught fire, the outpost in-charge Fatepur Prem Chandra reached the scene with Dalbal. He said that one of the accused has been arrested. The remaining accused will be arrested soon.
Bole Tehsildar
Tehsildar Awadhesh Kumar said that both sides are claiming a land of the Gram Sabha as their own. This is why there has been a dispute. A survey of the land is being done by making a team. Keeping the eligibility in mind, an attempt is being made to resolve the matter permanently by allotting land to the needy people.
