A case of raping a judo player by pretending to be married has come to light. The girl was identified with the accused during judo training at TT Nagar Stadium. After the friendship turned into a love affair, the young man took her to a friend’s house, where he had physical relations. After this, he continued to be physically abused for a year by pretending to be married. Recently, the woman refused to marry as a Dalit caste. The police have registered a case against the accused under the SCST Act and excesses on the complaint of the girl.
According to TT Nagar Police, a 19-year-old resident of Piplani used to go to TT Nagar Stadium last year for training in judo. Here he was identified with a young man named Amit Yadav. Amit also used to come here to learn judo. The friendship of the two soon turned into a love affair. Recently, when the girl pressed for marriage, Amit refused to marry. The woman reported the matter to the police on Friday. The accused refused to marry when the woman was a Dalit.
