A Dalit minor girl student was thrown out of the classroom by her class teacher because of her caste.
The girl is out of school for the past three because of her caste and no action has been taken against the teacher.
Now, a video of the minor and her father’s interaction with the reporter is doing rounds on social media. In the video, the girl can be seen fearing from saying anything in front of the camera but her father told the whole story to the reporter.
The viral video also shows the girl bit crying and fearing to utter anything in front of the camera.
The incident happened in a government school in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district.
Pooja Singh, a teacher posted in primary school Tenganha Gonda, said she will not teach Lower caste children. It is also alleged that the teacher suggested the girl to keep away from school.
When a local reporter reached the minor girl to investigate the reality of the claim, he found it right. The girl did not reply to anything when the reporter asked her about the incident of throwing her out of the classroom.
In the video, her father can be seen explaining the incident and said he had asked the teacher why he was thrown his daughter out of class. To this, the teacher threatened him to call the police and hand him over to the police.
In this case, the girl’s father lodged a complaint to the District Basic Education Officer Akhilesh Pratap Singh, who assured him that the entire episode will be investigated and the necessary action will be taken against the teacher.
In her defence, the teacher Pooja Singh said the girl was not speaking in the class, so he was asked to bring his mother to school.
