The latest case has come to light from Nagaur district. On October 2, when goodwill, all religion meetings were being praised everywhere. At that time a Dalit family, who had gone to clean a temple complex in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district, was being attacked.

The matter did not end there, the gangsters again attacked the family going to the police station to complain by stopping them on the way. Later, the victim’s family lodged a complaint with the concerned police station. The police registered a case against the three named accused, but the accused were not arrested even on the second day of the incident. The accused lodged a case against the Dalits for assaulting them by entering the temple. The Dalit family affected by this is in panic.

According to the police, Dinesh (28) son Omprakash Valmiki resident Lamba Jatan district Nagaur submitted a report in the police station and said that on October 2, around 1.30 pm, the applicant along with his mother Munidevi and sister Asha had gone to clean the Devnarayan temple premises. The victim told that as soon as he started cleaning in the temple premises, Narayan Ram’s son Prabhuram Gurjar resident Lamba Jatan, who was present there insulted him with casteist words and said that who has sent you here. After this, he started beating with hands, beats and punches. After this the Dalit victims went home. Dinesh went home and narrated the incident to his father. Dinesh told in the report that he, along with his mother and father Omprakash, was going to Gotan police station to complain about the incident with them in the temple.

As soon as he reached ahead from Bakliawas village on the bike, the accused Mehram son Prabhuram Gurjar, Kaluram son Narayanram Gurjar and another who came on two bikes from behind threw our bike on the ground by lathi. After this, the accused started beating them with sticks, kicks and punches, insulting them with casteist words.
The victim Dinesh told The Mooknayak that the accused kept attacking her and her parents with sticks. We kept shouting for help. Later, when the crowd gathered, the accused fled the spot. On information, all the three injured were admitted to Government Hospital in Gotan by 108 ambulance. Due to the serious condition of Omprakash, after the first aid, the doctors referred him to Jodhpur. While Dinesh and his mother were discharged after first aid.
Police Officer Gopal Krishna told The Mooknayak that no arrest has been made in this regard yet. People from the temple side have also filed a case against the people of Dalit society. Research is going on now.
