The gangsters beat up the Dalit youth so brutally that he broke his legs for not agreeing to the buffalo theft case.
Morena. In a village in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, a shocking case has come to light of the fearless morale of the dabangs. Here the dacoits beat up the Dalit youth so brutally that he broke his legs for not agreeing to the buffalo theft case. Surprisingly, even the police are not listening to the complaint of cruelty meted to him. It is being told that the police is not ready to register the young man’s report. Disappointed with the behavior of the police station, when the victim reached the SP office, he could not be contacted by any officer there too. After getting frustrated at all the doors of justice, the Dalit victim has spoken of committing suicide along with the family.
The Dalit family living in Pipalkheda village of Saraichola police station area reached the SP office on Monday late evening sitting in a tricycle and pleaded for the safety of their family. At the same time, he has spoken of suicide along with his family after getting upset with the attitude of the police. In the application given to the SP, Ramsia Kori said that the Dabangs of the village have stolen my buffalo three times. Reported in this matter. But on 9 December 2020, due to not agreeing, an attempt was made to kill him by accident on Bandha Chauraha Highway. The Saraichola police station wrote the accident report, in which my name was wrongly written. On 30 September, my son Pulendra Mahour was thrashed with kicks and sticks and humiliated on caste lines by the miscreants at 8 pm for not agreeing to the matter. Went to his house on the morning of 1 October, from where he abused us and drove us away. Called on dial 100, then the police took my wife to the police station to file a report. Kept there for the whole day and drove away in the evening. Then the next day when I myself reached the police station, he assured that you go, we reach the village in an hour and file a report. But, the police has not reached the village yet.
Victim Ramsia says that, the police did not come, but when they reached the house, in a short time they came there with a dabbling gun and a katta and started threatening to report. Dabangs said that, now the legs are broken, they will kill them and will throw them out of the village. Since then they have been contacting the police station, but no one is ready to write the report. That is why the SP office has come to seek justice, but even here the complaint made due to non-availability of Superintendent of Police and Additional Superintendent of Police seems to be hanging in the balance. Saddened by this behavior and functioning of the police, he has spoken of committing suicide along with the family. Now the thing to be seen is that, under Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government, there will be any help for the suffering Dalit family or they will have to leave the village.
