Class 11 Dalit student Mohit Verma, a resident of Pavaiya village under Kothi police station area of Satna, had gone to Government Higher Secondary School in Kothi town. According to the injured Dalit, as soon as he went inside the class room and sat on the bench, Abhimanyu Urmaliya and Prince Sharma, students of 11th standard, approached the student Mohit Verma and hurling casteist abuses said that you are a Chamar, not on the bench but on the ground. Sit down, when Mohit did not get up from the bench, both the domineering students assaulted Mohit in the class room itself.
Domineering students beat up Mohit by laying siege
The matter was pacified when the students of the class intervened. Student complained about this incident to Mohit Madam. After which, when the Dalit student Mohit Verma came out of the school on leave, both the domineering students laid siege and beat him fiercely, Mohit fell unconscious due to the fight, the local people admitted the injured student to the Kothi Community Health Center. . As soon as the news was received, the relatives reached the hospital. When the health of injured Mohit did not improve, the doctor referred him to Satna District Hospital.

The injured Mohit told that the domineering students Abhimanyu and Prince used casteist abuses and beat him several times, but today both of them beat him very badly, Mohit told that he had fainted after the fight outside the school. He does not know how he reached the hospital.
Despite such a sensitive incident, the Kothi police neither took cognizance of the matter, nor took the statement of the injured after reaching Kothi hospital. After the matter went viral in the social media, the police action is limited to paperwork, the bully students are openly roaming around and demonstrating their bully. The surprising thing in the whole matter is that the school management and the police are keeping silence in the matter.
