Mulbagilu: Unable to bear the insults from the upper castes, a Dalit youth committed suicide in Mulbagilu of Kolar district.
Udaya Kiran, a Dalit youth committed suicide. The upper caste youth got into a fight because Uday Kiran overtook the bike of an upper caste while riding a bike and not only scolded him but also tied Uday to a tree and stripped him of his clothes.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Uday Kiran committed suicide due to this. A complaint has been registered against the four and they are currently absconding.
