A case has come to the fore of mercilessly thrashing a Class 12 Dalit student and tearing his clothes by the Principal of Missionary St. Peter’s School, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that when the family members complained about this to the police, the student was thrown out of the school. When the hearing was not held at the police station, the father of the victim student complained to the authorities. The college principal and the student were called to the police station last Thursday. Where no action is being taken, the victim has appealed to MP and Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore for justice.
Action after MP’s intervention
On the displeasure of the regional MP, ADCP South Manisha Singh reached the police station and recorded the statement of the student. After which an order has also been given to register the case. According to the ADCP, CCTV cameras installed in the college are being scanned, action will be taken if found guilty. According to Virendra Kumar of Ekta Nagar Kalli West, his son is a sugar patient. Insulted the student many times

The student’s father told that the son had gone to college with him. During the prayer meeting, the principal insulted the son by saying that he is neither a boy nor a girl. His son is deeply hurt by this behaviour. He further told that due to being a sugar patient, the son goes to urinate many times. Regarding this also the principal has humiliated the son many times in the class.
Officer inspected after MP’s displeasure
On the displeasure of the MP, ADCP South Manisha Singh reached the police station. He recorded the statement of the student and ordered registration of the case. In this matter, the ADCP has said that the CCTV cameras installed in the college are being scanned. Action will be taken if found guilty.
