Let’s run away from here.” Saying the same thing to a Dalit man working in a temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya, the upper castes abused him and started raining slaps on him. When Naresh Katra, a Dalit resident of a locality in the city, was working in the Shiv temple of Manepur, Chuttu Pandey, Preeti Pandey, Balram Pandey and Punit Pandey of the village barged into the temple and started beating Dalit Naresh.
Not only this, all four threatened Naresh, a Dalit, to leave the village. According to the victim Naresh, the four are constantly harassing him and pressurizing him to leave the village.
Case is registered in the police station:

Dalit families forced to leave their homes:
The victim says that the family has been troubled by the threats of the upper castes. That’s why the victim Naresh has written “This house is for sale” on his house. The Dalit family will leave the village as soon as the house is sold.
