In Kanpur, land mafia Santosh Rajput fired a bulldozer on the house of Dalits, video viral
The land mafia demolished the houses of Dalits:
The incident came to light last Thursday when the Joint CP ordered an inquiry on the complaint of the victim. However, in his complaint, Dalit victim Phoolchandra has told the matter of 29th December. It has been said in the complaint that on December 29, Santosh Rajput, the land mafia of the village, along with his associates Ram Singh, Shiv Balak, Suresh and Satyajeet, son of Satosh, came to his house in broad daylight. Everyone together fired a bulldozer at his house. At the time when the bulldozer was fired, Phoolchandra’s grandson was sleeping in the house, whose life was saved.

Police complicity:
The victim has also made serious allegations against the police in his complaint. The victim says that policemen also came along with land mafia Santosh and his associates. With the connivance of the accused and the police, the house was bulldozed and demolished. Not only this, Phoolchandra’s Dalit neighbor Kanchan Paswan’s house was also demolished with bulldozers for protesting. During the incident, the police personnel also abused Phoolchandra’s daughter-in-law Soni. In a video viral on social media, the victim can be heard saying that “police has taken money from the land mafia and hence is helping the police in bulldozing the houses of Dalits”.
Santosh Rajput wants to grab the victim’s land:
In his complaint, Phoolchandra has said that the aggrieved Dalit family has been living on Arazi 368’s 1 Bigha 11 Biswa land since the time of their elders. They earn their living from this land. But Santosh Rajput wants to grab their land by conniving with the Lekhpal of the village. That’s why on 29 December his house was demolished with bulldozers in broad daylight. Dalit Phoolchandra has alleged that when he reached the police station to complain about the matter, he pleaded with Panki’s ACP for justice, but he was not heard. In Beheda village of Kanpur, the house of two Dalit families was demolished and the roof was snatched from their heads and no action was taken in the matter.
However, after the complaint, the Joint CP has directed Panki’s ACP to investigate and take action in the matter.
