One accused of gang-raping a Dalit girl arrested

New Delhi, (Juneid Akhtar): Police station Face in Noida, adjacent to Delhi, arrested the accused of gang-raping and looting a Dalit girl from Sector 88 Phool Mandi on Monday night. The accused along with his brother-in-law had raped the girl. Police teams are raiding in search of the other accused.

Central Noida ADCP Saad Mian Khan told that a Dalit girl had given a complaint in the police station on July 21, 2022 that she works in a company. After being discharged from the company, the girl was going on foot from the service road of Hosiery Complex to go to her home in Salarpur at around nine o’clock in the night. When she reached in front of plot number C-50, two youths pressed her face and dragged her to the park. Here the accused gang-raped the girl and ran away after looting her mobile. The police had formed a team after registering a case in the matter. Now in the case, the police have arrested an accused from Sector 88 Phool Mandi on Monday night. He has been identified as Jaswant Tomar, a resident of Bahapur village in Sambhal. To escape from the police, the accused was selling tea by opening a tea shop in Phool Mandi. The accused along with his brother-in-law Abhay Pratap had raped the girl. The police is now looking for the accused brother-in-law Abhay.
