Madhya Pradesh: Dalit youth thrashed for playing Jai Bhim song, case filed against 7 people!

The Mooknayak started a conversation with the victim Rakesh and his colleagues regarding this incident of assault to know how this incident took place. And how are they feeling, what are their reactions to the event?
Rakesh told that, “My tractor was running and this song, ‘Main Chhora Ch***r Ka’ was being played on the tape attached to the tractor; Jitendra Singh Thakur of village Rewas and other people made a false video of me regarding this.” Posted on Instagram status. Later we were called to the village by phone. On reaching us, he asked why this song was played. While abusing on this, said that your reservation has been removed. you will kill people Will cut off the legs. ‘What will your Bheem do against casteism’, I was also slapped two or three times by holding my collar.”
This indecency with Rakesh did not stop here. He further explains that, “Kachhulal, Ghanshyam and other comrades who were standing with me from my society were also abused. At the same time, the great man Dr. Bhimrao Ambeder was abused so much that I am very ashamed to tell.
Rakesh further said, “When we lodged an FIR in Sarsi Chowki, the police took away 3-4 accused that day. Then the accused were released in the night. But we did not see the accused in the morning. After that we have no information about the accused.
Further, Maniram, who belongs to the Scheduled Caste, tells about the incident, “Jitendra Singh’s father Kalu Singh called us and said, ‘You are a bastard, what is your status, you do not have the status to stand in front of us.’ When there was a movement of Karni Sena on 8th regarding reservation. Then we had put his status on our mobiles. In this situation (the accused) stopped us to put the status.
Maniram further says that, “Only because of caste, we are told that, ‘You people, being of a s*** society, have sat on our heads’. Untouchability is so much in our area that, high and low in the village. Caste cannot eat and drink together. We are not allowed to go to the temple. It is said that you belong to a low caste, so you do not have the right to go to the temple.
Jagdish, a resident there tells The Mooknayak , “In the village, we are prevented from chanting ‘Jai Bhim’. We use the status of Jai Bhim. Then the upper caste people say why did you put the status of Jai Bhim.
Nageshwar expresses his pain on the matter like this, “The atmosphere here is like killing because of casteism. People of Rajput society tell us that, ‘Don’t take the name of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, don’t put his flag at home.’ We are also threatened not to take out a procession on Sant Ravidas Jayanti. Don’t move around on a gandi (motorcycle) in the village. Don’t sit on the mare in the procession.
Nageshwar further tells The Mooknayak that, “In the village it all follows the rules. When we oppose all this, upper caste people come with sticks (lathis) to beat us.”
The Mooknayak put this question in front of Nageshwar that, don’t you people explain to the upper caste people that the way you are treating us is wrong (against constitutional values, human rights, natural rights)? Then Nageshwar’s answer comes that, “We explain all this. But those people (upper caste people) do not understand us at all and get ready to kill.”
The primary report that he has filed in the police post Sarsi regarding the assault and indecency with Rakesh. Rakesh also shared a copy of that report with The Mooknayak .
However, a case under sections 323, 294, 506, 34 and ST/SC Act has been registered on this first information report in Police Station Sarsi.
