Dalit woman dies due to quack doctor’s treatment, accused arrested

Bhadohi (UP), A Dalit woman died after allegedly being treated by a quack doctor in Koirauna police station area of Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. Police gave this information .
Police said that the accused has been arrested on Sunday after registering an FIR in the matter.
He told that a woman had died on Friday due to giving wrong injection in a clinic located at Semradh under Koirauna police station area.
Inspector-in-charge of the station (SHO) Brijesh Kumar Maurya said on Sunday, quoting the complaint lodged by the family members, that Patti Devi (48) was taken to an alleged doctor Rajan Vishwakarma nearby, where some medicine was prescribed. After giving it, Doctor A administered the injection.
He told that shortly after this, the woman died while sobbing. He told that the dead body was sent for postmortem after the relatives created a ruckus in this matter.
He told that on the basis of Tahrir of the woman’s husband Rama Shankar, a case was registered against the alleged doctor Rajan Vishwakarma on Sunday and the accused was arrested.
He told that no degree related to medicine was found with the accused.
