Scheduled Caste Commission’s big action on casteist abuses by the principal to a Dalit female teacher

In which the Dalit woman told that she is humiliated by the principal in the school by hurling casteist abuses at her. Let us tell you that NCSC has also said that if no response is given by the administration within 10 days, then the commission will take action under civil court. In such a situation, orders can be issued to the Director, School Education to appear in person or to make a representative appear on his behalf.
Police is investigating:
Apart from the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Chandigarh Police is investigating on its session. DSP Palak Goyal and SHO Mini Bhardwaj of Sector-19 police station are looking into the matter. DSP Palak Goyal has recorded the statement of the Dalit female teacher who went to the school and complained, while many cross-questions have also been asked to her.
The school was cleaned by a Dalit female teacher:
While recording her statement to the police, the Dalit female teacher told the police that even in the year 2017, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Arogya Vatika, despite the presence of sweepers, the principal had got the broom done. The complainant told that two other female teachers of the school had asked her to withdraw the complaint and apologize for signing the activity register regarding the incident of January 27, 2023 as well. On the other hand there is anger in the SC community for no action being taken against Principal Raj Bala. A demand has also been raised to repatriate the principal to the parent cadre, Haryana.

A meeting has also taken place regarding the matter. At the same time, UT Advisor Dharam Pal has complained. Chandigarh Administration’s Directorate of School Education says that the complaint made by Principal Raj Bala regarding his alleged misbehavior will be treated as an advisory memo. At the same time, it will have no effect on the service record of the Dalit teacher.
What has happened so far in the case:
According to Dainik Bhaskar’s report, so far a 4-member committee has been formed to investigate the matter. The committee has recorded the statements of the staff members of the school. In the same case, complaint has been given to SSP Manisha Chowdhary, administrative officers, SC commission as well as President and PMO. On the other hand, SC community has also demonstrated outside the building of Union Education Department.
Protesters were assured of appropriate action by DSE HS Brar in view of the SC community’s outrage. So, after the heat of the matter, the charge of Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 18, was given to Principal Sukhpal Kaur in place of Principal Raj Bala.
The principal denied the allegations:
