Why is this Dalit family of UP asking for death?

The job of the police is to provide security to the public and save lives, but what will happen when the police itself says that ‘If you want to die, then at least the matter will be calm’. The case is of Uttar Pradesh where a Dalit family is not getting any help from the police administration. Due to the injustice being done to the same Dalit family, the victimized Dalit families have appealed to the CM for euthanasia.

The incident is of Manjula area of Moradabad police station. Where a victim woman from a Dalit family says that UP police constable Pravendra living in the neighborhood wants to buy our house. Pravendra’s posting is in Rampur district. The woman says that constable Pravendra forcefully entered the house and beat us several times. But the police have not taken any action in this matter so far. The victim’s Dalit family says that when they lodged a complaint at the Khushalpur outpost, the police officer there first threatened them and then drove them away from the police outpost.
“Either give justice or give death”
On the case, the victim woman says that the police constable shows his uniform and says that I will not let you stay here, you sell this house and go away. Now troubled by threats and assault, the Dalit woman has appealed to CM Yogi for justice. The woman says that either she gets justice or else she will commit suicide along with her family. This video of the woman is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

The woman also says that I have small children and we are running our livelihood comfortably, so it is not easy for us to leave the house and go somewhere else.
