Stones pelted at Baba Saheb’s procession in Mathura, ruckus continues over installation of statue in Rajasthan

Uttar Pradesh / Rajasthan. Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated all over the world on April 14, his struggle in the field of social reform and contribution in building India. Leaders of political parties believing in different ideologies across the country were also offering flowers on the statues of Baba Saheb and giving advice to follow the path shown by him. But at the same time, in a village of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, anti-social elements pelted stones at the procession taken out on the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb. Not only this, despite the presence of heavy police force, the goons did not allow the procession to proceed further.
According to the information, on April 14, on the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, people were taking out a procession in the village of Jait police station area of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the procession reached the middle of the village, a crowd of some people suddenly pelted stones.
It was told that during this time police personnel were also present, but they looked helpless in front of the stone pelting mob. Seeing the tense situation after the incident of stone pelting on the procession, the additional police force reached the village after which the situation came under control.
ASI Narendra Singh of Jait police station said that the police arrested 3 people in this case. All three have been sent to judicial custody on the orders of the court. According to the police, tension still prevails in the village. The police claim that there is peace now. Additional police force has been deployed in the village. Police is making efforts to arrest the remaining accused.
Slogans of Ambedkar Murdabad were raised in the presence of police in Bharatpur as well.
On the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, a program was fixed to install Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s statue on April 14 at Bailara intersection in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan under the auspices of the municipal administration. All the preparations were done.
In protest against the installation of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s statue at Ballara Crossroads, a group first blocked the traffic by arson near Ballara Crossroads on the evening of 12th April. Stones were pelted at the police who were trying to open the way. After this sequence of events, an atmosphere of tension prevailed in the area.
The next day of the conspiracy, on April 13, again the opponents of Baba Saheb’s statue in the area tried to create a situation of ethnic conflict. Under the leadership of Anirudh Singh, son of cabinet minister Vishvendra Singh in the Congress government, the crowd had reached Bailara Square. Where Ambedkar shouted slogans of Murdabad along with the people and leaders involved in the crowd. According to Nadbai police officer Ramavtar Meena, the policemen posted at Bailara intersection were heckled and the people leading the mob instigated the mob against the administration and the Jatav community. After this, the police registered a case against the mob, naming the cabinet minister’s son and his accomplices. People are also seeing this whole incident by linking it with political conspiracy.
Now the support of the society due to the fear of arrest
The main accused and the Congress government in the case filed in the case of increasing caste disharmony by forcefully placing the picture of Maharaja Surajlam on the plinth made for the statue of Baba Saheb in the Nadbai incident, pushing the police, obstructing the state work Anirudh, son of cabinet minister Vishvendra Singh, is now seen taking cover of the society to avoid arrest.
Recently Anirudh’s video has surfaced. In this video, he is talking about calling a mahapanchayat of the society along with mother Divya Singh regarding the Nadbai incident. Along with this, he is also saying that now the society will decide whether what he did in Nadbai was in the interest of the society? It is discussed that mother and son are trying to cross the tyranny of politics by riding on the boat of society.
Anirudh wants the support of society by connecting with feelings
Anirudh said in a video that “After peacefully installing the statue of Maharaj Surajmal in an area like Bharatpur, the police thought of taking action, I am not taking this action lightly. Because this matter belongs to the society. My mother Maharani Sa Bharatpur and I have taken a decision that in a few days we will hold a mahapanchayat of the society in Motimahal premises. And in this mahapanchayat my mother will present the side of her son that he has done this work for the society. If the society will take this decision on that day If it is my fault, then my mother will come immediately after handing me over to SHO Nadbai in her car. And if you people (society) decide that it was my decision, it was in the interest of the society, in the interest of Maharaj Surajmal’s lineage. If I were, then I would have no words for your love and respect, I would bow down.”
Tension continues, police force deployed at Ballara intersection
Tension is clearly visible on the faces of the people after the open protest against installation of statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Bailara intersection of Nadbai and confrontation with the police force. Although the police force is still deployed at the crossroads for security.
Nadbai police station officer Ramavatar Meena says that the police is ready. For the time being there is peace. Regarding the arrest of the minister’s son, he said that no arrest has been made in this matter so far. Circle officer Ritiraj Singh is investigating it. He said that at present he has no information about the mahapanchayat of any particular caste or society.
