Jaipur. Reena, daughter of Gyanchand Bairwa, a resident of Tilakpur village under Laxmangarh police station area of Alwar district of Rajasthan, is going to get married on April 22 this month. Preparations for the wedding are going on at home, but there is fear in the eyes of father Gyanchand. He is apprehensive that some kind of anti-social elements may once again disturb his daughter’s marriage, insult the wedding processions by assaulting them. Gyanchand remains lost in this thinking. Here the fear of Gyan Chand is also justified.
The reason for Gyanchand’s concern is the incident on March 10, 2015, the day of marriage of elder daughter Kiran. On March 10, 2015, the marriage of elder daughter Kiran was. Gyanchand’s son Bhupendra tells that the marriage procession had come from Rashidpur village in Mahwa tehsil of Dosa district. At that time, the people of a particular caste in the village did not allow the groom to mount the mare. They ransacked the groom’s car and chased away the baratis by doing indecency.
Bhupendra says that his father was insulted at that time. Remembering that incident even today his father shivers. He does not speak anything on the incident of that day. Rather keep silence. Their silence leaves many questions.
Bhupendra told The Mooknayak that at that time the father had lodged a complaint with the Laxmangarh police station. On the complaint, the police also came to the village. The photo was also taken and gone. No action was taken against the accused. That’s why their spirits are high.
Due to apprehension, sought the help of the police
Now the marriage of the younger daughter is on 22nd April. To prevent the incident like before, this time Gyanchand Bairwa has written a letter to the District Collector demanding police protection for the daughter’s wedding procession. Taking Gyanchand’s concern seriously, the District Collector has written a letter to the Superintendent of Police and the Laxmangarh SDM, instructing them to investigate and arrest the possible people who disrupt the marriage and to provide police protection on the day of the marriage.
it was written in the letter
By writing a letter to the District Collector, Gyanchand Bairwa told that the applicant is a resident of Tilakpur police station Laxmangarh. The marriage date of applicant’s daughter Reena is fixed on 22 April 2023. The ascent of the procession will start from Bichgaon bus stand at 10 am and the procession will be welcomed at the applicant’s house at 12 noon. The applicant belongs to Bairwa caste and belongs to Scheduled Caste. Who has the only house. The people of Gurjar caste are dominant in the village of the applicant. There is every possibility of the applicant that the people of Gurjar community will not allow the procession to take place on the mare.
told the reason for apprehension
Gyanchand further writes in the letter that the marriage of the applicant’s elder daughter Kiran was completed on March 10, 2015. The procession had come from Rashidpur village in Mahwa tehsil of Dausa district. At that time also the people of Gurjar community had created a quarrel. The groom’s car was vandalised. There was a quarrel and indecent behavior with the baraatis. A complaint was also given in this regard at Laxmangarh police station.
He said that recently on March 9, 2023, the marriage of Anju, daughter of Dharamsingh Bairwa, took place in our village. Even in the said marriage, the people of Gurjar community did not allow the groom to mount the mare. Made his own mare dance in front of the DJ. The baraatis were chased away.
Due to these circumstances, there is every possibility for the applicant that on the day of climbing, the people of Gurjar community will not allow the groom to mount the mare, and will chase away the wedding processions by creating a quarrel. In such a situation, there is every possibility of a quarrel. Police help should be given at the time of procession.
Bhimsena State General Secretary Shersingh Boudh said that after writing a letter to the District Collector, the police had come to the village from the Laxmangarh Police Station. Left after talking, but did not come again. The victim’s family has also met Subdivision Officer Subhash Yadav today. The SDM has assured that no one will disturb his daughter’s marriage.
In this regard, The Mooknayak spoke to Laxmangarh subdivision officer Subhash Yadav. The SDM said that on April 4, a family had written a letter to the District Collector. On this, I have given instructions to the concerned Circle Officer to deploy adequate police force on the day of marriage. He said that nothing like this will happen. The marriage will be conducted without any hindrance.
Laxmangarh police officer says that the victim Gyanchand Bairwa had complained about some people disrupting the daughter’s marriage. After the complaint, we have gone to the village and talked to both the parties. Banning action is also being taken against some people. I am monitoring myself. Adequate police force will be deployed in the village on the wedding day as well. The marriage will be completed without any hindrance.
Bhimsena State President Ravi Kumar Meghwal said that atrocities against scheduled caste people are continuously increasing in Rajasthan. We are not even being allowed to marry freely. In Tilakpura village, in the marriage of the people of our society, there has been an incident of getting the grooms off the mare earlier also. This is the reason why the victim has sought help from Bhimsena this time as well. Meghwal said that he himself would attend the wedding ceremony.
