Suddenly attacked from behind, left him dead and ran away
Ishwar Singh Bhil, a family member of the deceased Revantram Bhil, told The Mooknayak that the deceased seems to be his paternal uncle. Like normal days, on Monday morning, he went to the forest to graze his sheep and goats. He was grazing goats in Rohi near Sihad village of Bap police station area between 9 am to 10 am, about five hundred meters away from the main road on the Sihad-Raida road. An unknown person who came on a motorcycle from behind hit Revantram with a big stone on his head.

Ishwar Singh Bhil told The Mooknayak that before his death, his uncle Revantram, while narrating the incident to his family members, had said that after suddenly being attacked from behind, he turned and saw that the bike-borne miscreant attacked him with a weapon like an iron rod. Got hurt in the head. Due to this he fell down. The accused attacked the one who was lying down. After this, sitting on the chest, strangled him. Thinking that he was dead, the accused ran away with the motorcycle.
Ran for one kilometer in an injured state and sought help from a relative
Ishwar Singh said that Tau Revantram’s body was bleeding after the attack. Despite being seriously injured, he ran for about a kilometer shouting for help. With great difficulty he reached the relative working on the tube well. On the information of the relative, other family members reached the spot. The villagers say that he had 80 sheep and goats on the day of the incident. More than a dozen goats went missing after the attack. However, the Bap police station has clearly denied that the goat has gone missing. Revantram was a friendly person. The village was not at loggerheads with anyone.
