Abu Road incident in Sirohi district, three people accused of rape and murder
Jaipur. In the past, people could not even forget the painful scene of a 9-year-old tribal daughter being brutally chopped into 10 pieces and thrown into the ruins in Mavli, Udaipur, that now the latest case has come to the fore from the Aburod police station area of Sirohi district. . Where people of a particular caste first raped a Scheduled Caste married woman living in the neighborhood. After this, he was killed by slitting his throat with a knife. On coming to know of the incident, on the report of the victim’s brother, the Abu Road city police station has registered a case of rape and murder against neighbor Harsh’s son Ashok Kumar Rajput, Shanky and Vikas alias Kalu.
According to Abu Road City Police Station Officer Saroj Bairwa, the victim’s brother submitted a report to the police station and told that the woman was living in her maternal home for a few days, who also had a three-year-old daughter. The woman and her daughter were not at home on May 2, the day of the incident, around 3:30 pm. The applicant asked the mother where the sister and niece had gone. On this the mother said that she must have gone nearby. There she went out to find her sister. During this, the neighbour’s son Harsh, nephew Shanki and Vikas alias Kalu were seen leaving their own house in suspicious condition. Mother went inside the house and looked. Hearing the screams of the mother, the applicant ran to the house of the accused.
Saw there that the throat of the applicant’s sister was slit with a sharp weapon. His clothes were torn and there was blood on his clothes. The applicant ran outside till then the accused Harsh, Shanky and Vikas alias Kalu fled from there. Thereafter the applicant came back to the spot. He called his relatives and relatives and informed them about the incident.
Crying relatives of the victims
On this the relatives informed the police and the police officers also reached the spot. The complainant said in the written report that he suspected that Harsh, Shanki, Vikas alias Kalu had raped the applicant’s sister and killed her by slitting her throat to save herself. On the basis of the report, the police registered a case against the three accused under other sections including murder and gang rape and handed over the investigation to Circle Officer Yogesh Sharma.
Talking to The Mooknayak, Prakash Sargar, associated with the Sirohi District Bhim Army organization, said that the victim had been living in her maternal home for a long time. On May 2, his 3-year-old daughter left the house. When she reached the neighborhood in search of the daughter, the accused said that yes her daughter had gone inside the house. When she went inside to pick up the daughter, the accused gang-raped her and killed her by slitting her throat with a knife. Prakash Sargar says that other people also saw the deceased while searching for his 3-year-old daughter.
On the other hand, as soon as the incident was known, the villagers along with their relatives gathered at the police station. Where protesting the incident demanded the arrest of the accused. After the persuasion of the police, on the assurance of early arrest of the accused, the villagers left outside the police station.
