The 58 organs received in a month include 34 kidneys, 18 livers, 3 hearts, one pair of lungs and one pair of hands and small intestine. Minister Rishikesh Patel further said that the SOTTO unit of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel has received an award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently and all the people involved in the service of organ donation in the state have been encouraged. This award has breathed life into the service activity of organ donation in the state.
