Rajasthan: At whose behest Kartik Bhil’s family is being harassed?
Report investigating the allegations against the CM advisor.
The place where Kartik Bhil’s family has been sitting on a dharna for 6 months. The road lights were switched off there in the past. In order to protect the innocent children from the sun, pressure was created to remove the clothes which were supported by sticks at the picket site.

Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is talking about giving relief to the common people, but the suffering tribals, Dalits, Muslims and backward people are not getting justice. Be it the case related to the murder of Kantilal alias Kartik Bhil of Sirohi or the Nasir-Junaid murder case of Bharatpur’s Ghatmika. In both the cases, the families of the victims have been demanding justice and arrest of the accused for a long time. The demand has not been fulfilled so far, but the news of the administration harassing the families demanding justice is coming continuously.
The family members have been sitting on a dharna for more than 6 months at the Sirohi district headquarters with other demands, including the arrest of the main accused in the murder of Kantilal alias Kartik Bhil. The administration has now started torturing Karthik’s family. Karthik’s innocent children, wife and family are demanding justice, but instead of justice they are getting harassment.
The place where Kartik Bhil’s family has been sitting on a dharna for 6 months. The road lights were switched off there in the past. When the family complained about turning off the road lights, the scope of harassment was further increased.
Reportedly on the instructions of the District Collector, the Tehsildar along with police personnel reached the protest site near Karthik’s family last Monday afternoon.
Karthik’s brother Praveen told that in order to protect the innocent children from the sun, pressure was created to remove the clothes which were supported by sticks at the picket site.
Karthik’s father and family pleaded with folded hands. He said that this cloth was put only to protect the children from the sun, but the officials did not listen.
Karthik’s brother talked about sitting on a dharna at this place for 6 months. On this the Tehsildar sought written permission to stage the protest. On this the family members said that he was going to Jaipur for justice. It was the people of the police and the administration who brought him here in December 2022 and made him sit. Since then he is continuously at this place.
Karthik’s brother asked the officer who reached the protest site, who is pressurizing us to harass us? The officers present on the spot remained silent on this question.
Allegations on the chief minister’s advisor
Kartik Bhil’s brother Praveen alleged that he was being harassed at the behest of Chief Minister’s advisor and regional MLA Sanyam Lodha. Karthik was killed for our Shivganj plot only. Now at the behest of the MLA, the police is protecting Karthik’s killers. They are also being harassed now at the behest of this leader.
Praveen told that Karthik has told everything in the video made before his death. How some capitalist people are trying to grab his Shivganj house. He said, “Karthik had become the thorn in the eye of the capitalists for raising the voice of the society while fighting to save the house.”
National General Secretary of Aam Aadmi Ki Awaaz Sangh Bhanwar Singh Adivasi said that the family of Kartik Bhil has made these serious allegations against the CM Advisor. In such a situation, it becomes the responsibility of the government to publicly answer these allegations. Also, take strict steps to get justice to the victim’s family.
The family is harassed here too
Hafiz Jabir was arrested by the police for climbing the tower demanding the arrest of all the accused, including the alleged cow protector Monu Manesar, who was the main accused in the Nasir-Junaid murder case of Ghatmika.
Opposing the arrest and alleging stone pelting, the police registered an FIR against the family members including Jabir under serious sections. It is a different matter that before his arrest, Jabir released a video accusing a regional woman minister and her husband of torturing her and the family of the deceased in order to save the killers of Nasir and Junaid. Hafiz Jabir has been agitating since the incident demanding the arrest of the accused.
The Mooknayak reporter Abdul Mahir tried to contact the Sirohi District Collector over phone to know the reasons for Kartik Bhil’s family not getting justice and harassment , but could not talk to him.
