Purpose of Collaboration
Through joint research initiatives, SARIM and the Gregorio Peces-Barba Institute conduct studies, collect data and analyze trends related to the rights of minorities in South Asia. This collaboration will enhance the ability to develop comprehensive and evidence-based research that sheds light on the specific issues and obstacles faced by minority communities. Furthermore, the collaboration will facilitate knowledge exchange and academic dialogue between the two institutes by organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops to promote the exchange of ideas, perspectives, and best practices on minority rights and human rights more broadly. These platforms will provide opportunities for scholars, researchers, and activists to engage in critical discussions and debates on human rights issues relevant to South Asia.
