Dalit temple priest was thrashed to death by upper caste bullies in village Khedi

The latest case is of Faridabad’s Khedi village where Balak Das, a priest who was reciting prayers in the village’s Kheda Dadi temple, was brutally beaten to death with sticks by some domineering upper caste people of the village itself. Due to which the priest of the temple has suffered a lot of injuries.
The priest of the temple was beaten up by some upper caste people of the village just because the priest belongs to Dalit caste. Please inform that the priest of the temple has suffered serious injuries in this attack. Who was admitted to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital. From where he was discharged from the hospital after first aid. The incident took place last night around 10.30 pm. When the priest of the temple Balak Das was sleeping in the temple, Mahesh Khatana of neighboring village Faridpur along with Lakhan Jat of the village knocked on the gate of the temple and called out to the priest that some animal had entered his field. He needs a torch. After listening to this, as soon as the priest entered the gate of the temple, Lakhan and Mahesh attacked him with sticks and rods while hurling caste-related abuses. Hearing the noise of the fight, Sarpanch Tej Singh’s family and Man Singh living in the neighborhood woke up and ran towards the temple. Seeing him coming towards them, Lakhan and Mahesh ran away from the spot.
After the incident, the people of the village took the priest to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital. Whereas, after this incident, the residents of the village, Kulbir, Tejpal and Dulichand told that the priest who was earlier in their village’s Kheda Dadi temple was known by the name of Ghoda Pachhad. His behavior and behavior was not good. Due to which the people of the village removed him from the temple.
At the behest of the people of the village, Dulichand recommended Balak Das, a priest living in Vrindavan for 27 years, to come to his village temple and offer prayers. After which the priest Balak Das obeyed him and started service and worship in the temple. He has been worshiping in this village temple for the last 6-7 months. Kulbir told that ever since he started worshiping in the temple, since then development works have been done in the temple including cleanliness in the temple. But some upper caste people of the village do not accept that Baba is from Dalit caste and worships in the temple, that’s why they attacked him.
