The boy’s mother was abducted because Dalits had run away their daughter
Janakpurdham. 19-year-old Kamlesh Mehra and 18-year-old Neha Kapar of Siraha, who were in a relationship, ran away and got married. They ran away on 23 March and have not been made public yet. But it has been found that the boy’s mother was abducted by the girl’s side for chasing away the daughter of a non-Dalit.
45-year-old Rajkumari Mahara of Mirchaiya Municipality-1 in Siraha was kidnapped from Bhulke Chowk in Bandipur on Tuesday. Rajkumari, Kamlesh’s mother, was released from kidnapping at 8:30 pm on Wednesday night, said DSP Jitendra Basnet of the area police office, Mirchaiya.
3 people have been arrested for being involved in kidnapping. DSP Vasnet said that the arrested persons are Lalita Kapar, Manoj Kapar and Suvel Anshari of Karjanha Municipality-10. Lalita is the mother of Neha Kapar.
According to DSP Basnet, after learning that Rajkumari Tampuma was coming from Dhanusha with her relatives, they kidnapped Lalita in a group of 8 people.
During the search, the princess was freed from Lahan on Wednesday night. DSP Wasnet said that Lalita was taken into custody from there.
According to the princess who was freed from abduction, they were kidnapped and taken to India in a car at night. When the police stopped him for checking, he claimed that he had been kidnapped, but he pretended that he was going for treatment. The princess said that she was beaten and tortured during the kidnapping.
According to him, the girl’s side is constantly stressing that the lower caste (Dalit) has chased away their daughter. The girl’s father, Rajkumar, has been beating and torturing her, forcing her to say where her mother, Lalita, has taken her.
When the children ran away, the girl’s family beat the boy’s mother Rajkumar. After being informed to the police, they provided protection for a few days, but no action was taken against the attackers.
Along with the girl’s father Rajkumar and mother Lalita, they attacked 25-year-old Rupesh Mahara, son of the boy’s uncle Ramashish. He returned home only a few days ago after undergoing treatment at Neuro in Biratnagar and Medicity in Kathmandu.
Rupesh’s family has registered a murder case against the girl’s parents with the Mirchaiya police. But the victim’s family alleges that the police did not arrest them due to political access and that is why one incident after another happened.
DSP Basnet said that they are trying to arrest him. He informed that a criminal complaint has been registered against eight people including the girl’s mother in the abduction incident.
