The opposition is attacking the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh on the issue of increasing atrocities on Dalits. State Congress President and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has made serious allegations against the government by tweeting. They said ” Dalit District Panchayat member Rajkumar Chaudhary of Ward No. 11 in Panna district was shot dead by influential people of the village. According to the information received, Chaudhary was opposing the use of machines in MNREGA work. I want to ask Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Singh whether law and order has completely ended in Madhya Pradesh? How long will this kind of open atrocity continue with the elected representatives? I want to remind you that this is the third major incident of atrocities on Dalits within a week. Stones were pelted at the procession of a Dalit youth in Chhatarpur. A 9-year-old Dalit girl was raped in Ratlam and now a district panchayat member from the Dalit community has been shot dead in Panna. Do Dalits not have the right to live in Madhya Pradesh under your rule? I request you to take the strictest action in this matter.”
