Rajasthan: Dalit minor girl raped after entering her house in Barmer, put obscene photos on social media
The incident came to light only when her photographs came in front of the family members of the victim on social media.

Barmer. Another Dalit minor girl became a victim of rape in Barmer district situated on the India-Pakistan border in western Rajasthan. The girl was alone at home at the time of the incident. At the same time, a young man from his village entered the house and ran away after raping. The accused took obscene photographs of the victim and also made a video. Later, the accomplice of the accused made them viral on social media. Police have registered a case against the accused under POCSO, SC/ST and other serious sections of IPC and have taken him into custody.
Superintendent of Police Digant Anand told that this incident has come to light in Bijrad police station area of Barmer district. As soon as the matter came to notice, a case was registered against the accused under serious sections and the medical examination of the victim was done. At the same time, the statement of the victim under 164 has also been taken. After that the accused youth has been taken into custody. He is being interrogated thoroughly. His accomplice is still absconding.
DSP SC-ST cell is investigating the case. The
Superintendent of Police said that after questioning, the accused can be arrested anytime. At the same time, an accused related to this case has absconded. Search for him is going on. DSP SC-ST cell is investigating the whole matter. A person from Bijrad police station area had given a report in this regard on 30 July. He told in his report that a few days ago the minor girl was alone at home. The family members had gone out for some work at that time.
Seeing
the minor alone in the house, Rana Khan of the village entered inside the house. He raped the minor. Took obscene photos with a minor and made a video. The accused threatened to kill the victim if she told anyone about the incident. After that the partner of the accused put those obscene photos on social media. When those photos came in front of the relatives, they questioned the victim. Then he narrated the incident and the incident came to light. After the incident was reported, anger has spread in the Dalit society.
