Serious errors in the lease of revenue land distributed to Dalit-tribals in MP, hundreds of people demonstrated at Indore Collectorate

Indore. Hundreds of tribals, laborers and farmers protested at the Indore collector’s office even in heavy rain. During this, the protesters handed over the memorandum of complaints and demands to the President and Chairman of National Tribal Commission and Indore Collector to Sub-Divisional Officer Ajit Srivastava.
It is worth noting that the housing and farming of Dalit, tribal and other landless farm laborers who have been living for a long time in the Indore Mahu Rau forest area of Indore district is facing a crisis. By demarcating the forest rights letter according to the occupation of the years old opportunity and correcting the serious errors made in the pattas of revenue land distributed among Dalit tribals in the past and by removing the dispute between the forest land and the revenue department of the district, the villagers of the area have been benefited for years. Movement is being done to get relief from the ongoing problem.
State Vice President of Kisan Sabha Arun Chohan while addressing the meeting held at the movement site said that after years of struggle, the tribals have got the benefit of the Forest Rights Act, which they will not leave. Unless the errors made in the distribution of forest rights letters are rectified, their problem will not be solved. With the Vikas Yatras being taken out by the BJP government, the government is seeing the truth of its lies being exposed at the ground level.
If the protesters did not solve their problems in 10 days, a warning was also given to take direct action on the District Magistrate’s office. Kashiram Nayak, Arjun Baria, Kesar Singh Malviya, Shankar Lal Malviya, Dharmender Dabur, Bhadar Singh Katare also addressed the meeting. Kanyalal Bhuria, Sitaram Ahirwar, Rai Singh Bhatia, Jabarsingh Lobhan Singh, Radheshyam Dabur, Subhash Verma, Kamla Bai Rathore, Gulka Bai Atare, Jhula Bai, Mamtabai Bhil, Heera Bahan, Shaitan Maa, Kamal Chauhan, Sidhu Medhe were prominent in the movement. Hundreds of tribals, laborers, villagers including Gotam Buddhist, Deepak More, Bhagirath Sisodia, Umrao Bhai participated.
