Haryana: Principal brutally thrashes Dalit student for not answering question

In Haryana’s Hisar, the principal mercilessly thrashed a Dalit student. The case pertains to a government school in Aryanagar in the district. According to information, the Dalit student studies in class III and is 9 years old. The incident is of 23 August. According to the report, the principal of the school had asked a question to the Dalit student, which the Dalit student could not answer, on which the principal Manoj Kumar started beating the Dalit student. The principal thrashed the Dalit child so mercilessly that the Dalit child shuddered with fear.
What the family said:
According to the news of Dainik Bhaskar, Azad Nagar Police has registered a case under SC, ST and JJ Act against GSSS Aryanagar Principal Manoj Kumar on the complaint of family members. On the other hand, according to Vikas Kumar, the victim’s brother, his maternal uncle’s 9-year-old boy studies in third grade in Arya Nagar government school. Manoj Kumar, Principal of Senior Secondary School, answered questions from the children of Primary School on August 23 at around 1.30 pm. When his maternal uncle’s son did not know the question, he was beaten fiercely.
Blood in urine :
Vikas told the police in Tahrir that the child’s private part also got hurt during the beating. We were told by someone from the school that the principal had thrashed the children badly. After this they went to the school and brought the child. Vikas also told that there was blood in the urine of the child. After which he was admitted to the CHC of Aryanagar. He was later referred to Hisar Civil Hospital for treatment.
According to relatives, the principal had also beaten up a Dalit girl student, but the girl’s family did not file a complaint because of her poverty.
