The latest case has come to light from Mai Khurd village of Khandar subdivision area of Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Where a teacher in a government higher secondary school has been accused of insulting a Dalit girl student studying in class 10th with caste-related words inside the class in front of her classmates. On Monday, student parents reached the school in protest against the incident, where they demonstrated outside the school demanding action against the teacher accused of insulting the students on the basis of caste. During this time, students also came out of the class rooms and came out of the school in support of the demand for action against the teacher.
Memorandum submitted to SDM
The villagers have submitted a signed memorandum to the Khandar Sub-Divisional Officer demanding action. The villagers said in the memorandum that the children were insulted with caste based words and abusive language by the teacher working in Government Higher Secondary School, Mai Khurd.
