Body of man swept away by Rapti river found

The body of a teenager, who had gone missing after being swept away by a river, was found on Sunday morning.
Raj Kumar Yadav, 18, of Rajpur Rural Municipality-2 was swept away by the flooded Rapti river on Saturday.
According to Superintendent of Police Ram Bahadur KC, the body was found on the riverbank after the water level receded.
Two people, who were stranded in a swollen river at Hasnapur in Lamahi Municipality-7, were rescued safely, while Yadav went missing after being swept away.
The rescued individuals were Tularam Yadav, 48, and Dayaram Yadav, 40, of Rajpur-2. They were trapped in the river while returning from Lamahi after selling milk.
Raj Kumar was swept away by the river, while the two others remained safe by climbing a tree. Security personnel from the Armed Police Force Nepal no 41 Reserve Battalion, Arjunkhola, rescued them.
