Rajasthan: 6 members of Meghwal family attacked for taking possession of leased land

BSP demanded the arrest of the criminals

Chittorgarh: On April 13, in Sodawas village of Thana Bhadesar area of the district, 6 members of a family were beaten with sticks and axes and injured with the intention of occupying the leased land of the Meghwal community. More than two dozen anti-social elements together attacked Satyanarayan, Dussehra, Suresh, Kanchan Bai, Dhapu Bai, Sugana Bai of the same family with sticks, stones and axes. In which the victims of the Meghwal community have suffered serious injuries.
The injured is admitted in the hospital. Two young children of the family were also badly beaten up and are also injured. On receiving information about the incident, former state in-charge of Bahujan Samaj Party, Advocate Amar Singh Bansiwal, former state secretary Radheshyam Meghwal reached the spot and met the victim’s family and inquired about the incident and met them in the hospital and enquired about their well-being.
BSP leaders spoke to Chittorgarh Superintendent of Police Bhadeshar Additional Superintendent of Police and demanded that legal action be taken and the criminal be arrested as soon as possible. BSP leaders said that if the criminals are not arrested within 3 days, then a movement will be organized in the entire state, the entire responsibility of which will be of the government administration.
