Andhra Cop Suspended After Viral Video Shows Him Thrashing 3 Men On Road

Three men were forced to sit on a road and beaten on their feet by police on Andhra Pradesh’s Tenali Highway. A video of the incident was shared by YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu.
Three men were forced to sit on a road as a cop thrashed their feet with a stick. The incident was reported from Andhra Pradesh’s Tenali Highway in Guntur, where the policeman in action was later suspended.
A video of the act was shared by Ambati Rambabu, a YSR party spokesperson, who called on the right for justice.
“This scene is on the Tenali highway… They don’t have the right to beat you even if you do something wrong. This is “Babu’s rule” without civil rights! Move……to fight for justice!” Rambabu captioned his post on X.
In the video, a cop could be seen hitting one of the men on his feet, while all three were made to sit with their legs straight.
He hits the first man six times when he finally withdraws his feet.
Moments later, another cop could be seen stopping the third man from bending his knees by keeping his shoes on his legs, as the cop hits his feet with a stick.

The three men were identified as Victor, Babulal and Rakesh, and were thrashed being accused of attacking a constable.
The three were also allegedly under the influence of drugs while they attacked the constable.
As the matter came to light, the three were taken to the Aithanagar area and were hit by sticks on their feet by a policeman, while another one assisted him.
Later, the cop seen hitting the three men was suspended.
