Minority Rights March 2025, Karachi, Pakistan

On August 10, 2025, Karachi’s KMC Ground became the heart of a powerful movement as minority communities, human rights defenders, and allies united for the Minority Rights March. The event, covered by SARIM, drew people from across Pakistan’s religious and marginalized groups, raising a collective voice for justice, equality, and constitutional protection for all citizens.
The ground was alive with vibrant banners, resonating chants of “One nation, equal citizens”, and a visible spirit of solidarity. Prominent activists delivered impassioned speeches, reminding the nation of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of a Pakistan where every citizen, regardless of faith, lives with dignity and respect. The march was more than just a gathering it was a clear demand to dismantle the legal, social, and institutional barriers that continue to hold minorities back.
From symbolic acts of unity to the determination reflected in each participant’s face, the rally carried an urgent reminder: Minority rights are human rights.
