It is being said that on 15 October, a Dalit minor named Sudhir was taken hostage by the village’s Santosh and his family members due to old enmity. Then, taking the bank of the river, tied his arms and legs and beat him fiercely, due to which he was seriously injured. After this, all the accused fled from the spot.
At the same time, the family informed the police about the case. However, after the information reached the spot, the police did not take the matter seriously. The victims’ relatives say that the police started demanding money from them to arrest the accused. At the same time, no drastic action was taken by the police against the accused for not giving the money to the victims. After this, the victim’s youth was admitted to the district hospital for treatment, where the doctors referred him to Prayagraj after seeing his condition. But the victim’s relatives did not get her treated due to lack of money, due to which she has died at home today.
