Babu’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (CO) Siyaram said that at around 6 pm on Tuesday evening, in a village in Baberu Kotwali area, an eight-year-old girl belonging to a Dalit class was allegedly raped by Jagdish Pal alias Muchadar, a 70-year-old man from the same village. did. Police reached the information and arrested the accused.
He said that the girl was playing at a distance of about 100 meters from her house, during which the accused carried out the crime. The CO said that the girl will be undergoing medical examination in a government hospital today and the accused will be produced in the concerned Poxo court.
