A case of misconduct with a minor Dalit teenager came to light in a village in Kalan area. Panchayats continued in this case for several days, but when the matter was not dealt with, they reached the police. The police filed reports in other sections including the Pasco Act. The police detained his brother as the accused fled.
The case is of a village in Kalan region itself. It is being told that the minor teenager went to the farm on Monday evening. Then the influential youth of the village caught him. Raped her. The teenager threatened her when the teenager protested. The teenager somehow got out of the young man’s clutches. Families informed about the incident. It is being told that after this, the family of the youth started pressing for agreement with the family of the teenager. The police station was not allowed for many days.
