The girl’s real cousin sister and cousin brother-in-law became middlemen in this relationship. The girl’s cousin sister has married a young man of another caste. The family did not know about this. When the matter of the relationship went on, the family members of the girl understood that her cousin brother-in-law would also be a youth of the same caste from whom the relationship had been fixed.
In Kotwali, the bride’s brother gave a complaint to the police and said that he was cheated by hiding the caste of the groom. The groom’s side accused him of assault by giving a complaint. The goods brought by him have been confiscated. Later, the relatives of both the parties also reached the Kotwali and an agreement was reached, saying that the bride’s side would be reimbursed for the expenses. The bridegroom along with the bridegroom returned to their home. The in-charge of Kotwali’s Kasba outpost has also confirmed the agreement between the two sides.
