In Junaidpur village of Charva police station area, the neighbor called the henchmen of former MP Atiq Ahmed for refusing to do a deed of land. It is alleged that he forcibly pressurized the Dalit woman to do land benama. When he resisted, he was beaten up severely. Hearing the noise, the brother-in-law and brother-in-law, who came to the rescue, were also beaten up. On being challenged by the villagers, the miscreants fled after firing with a pistol. Regarding this matter, the neighbors called the henchmen of former MP Atiq Ahmed on Tuesday night. According to the woman, the miscreants forcibly started pressurizing her to do land denama. On her refusal, the miscreants entered the house and beat her up. Jeth Moolchandra and brother-in-law Asharfi Lal, who came to the rescue, were also beaten up. All three suffered serious injuries as a result. On being challenged by the villagers, the miscreants fired in the air with a pistol and fled after threatening. The woman lodged a complaint against eight people in the police station.
