Rajasthan: Dalit laborer tortured for a drop of water, died

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Churu in Rajasthan. The incident is of Lasedi village of Sadulpur tehsil. Where a Dalit laborer Krishna Kumar Nayak was taken hostage by the casteists and beaten so much that he died. Not only this, when two of his fellow laborers reached to save the slain laborer, the casteists thrashed them as well, in which they were seriously injured. At present, the Rajgarh police has kept the dead body in the mortuary of the hospital, while the injured are being admitted to the government hospital and are being treated.
The matter was regarding the wages money:
According to the information, the deceased Krishna Kumar Nayak was a resident of village Ladiya in Churu. He had gone to Lasedi village 10 days ago along with two other laborers from his village, Ratan Singh and Sampat Meghwal. Dalit laborer Krishna Kumar Nayak had worked as a laborer at Shyokaran Jat’s place, for which he has not received the money yet. On February 12, during work, Bhagataram Jat took a Dalit laborer on his bike to calculate the money. But even after a long time Krishna Kumar did not return, his companions Ratan Singh and Sampat Meghwal reached Bhagataram Jat’s house in search of him.
