Now the villagers of Sahadi Mishra Dalit Tola village of Kalyan Panchayat of Amanore block are raising slogans not to vote for anyone for not having a road in the village. On Sunday, people of Sahadi Mishra Dalit Basti of Kalyan Panchayat of Amnore expressed their anger and protested. The people of the village have decided not to vote in the assembly elections. Raising slogans not to vote, Yogendra Das said, “Even after 73 years of independence, there is not a single road in the village.” Due to which people have a lot of trouble in movement. Villagers have requested everywhere, but the road has not been built yet.
Teresa Ram said, ‘Many times, the representative of the Panchayat and the local MLA and MP were appealed for the problem of the road. Still no one is listening yet. Baijnath Mishra says’ along with the road, there is no benefit of any government scheme. The work of tap water and hose street has not reached the village under the Chief Minister’s seven-year plan. Till date no public representatives have come to the village. Sanjay Mishra said, ‘The people’s representative wins the election by promising and then forgets this village. Therefore, by making it an issue, we have resolved to agitate. For this time, we have decided not to vote.
