On this Labor Day, South Asia Research Institute for Minorities (SARIM) acknowledges the tremendous contributions of laborers from all backgrounds, religions, castes, and ethnicities. As a society, we owe a debt of gratitude to the workers who have built and continue to build our communities and economies.
At SARIM, we stand in solidarity with laborers everywhere, who work tirelessly to create a better future for themselves and their families. We believe that every person deserves the right to work in safe and equitable conditions, free from discrimination, harassment, and exploitation.
This Labor Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the challenges faced by workers around the world, particularly in these unprecedented times. Let us also renew our commitment to fighting for workers’ rights and dignity, and to building a more just and equitable society for all.
