Dr. Ambedkar’s statue broken in Jalaun: trying to spoil the atmosphere, the administration assured to install a new statue

Anarchists tried to vitiate the atmosphere in Jalaun. In a village, the statue of constitution maker Baba Saheb Ambedkar was vandalised, due to which the atmosphere in the village became tense. The police reached the information and tried to pacify the matter, as well as assured the villagers to install a new statue, so that the tension could not increase.
The case pertains to village Dhamani under Sirsa Kalar police station area. Outside this village, the statue of constitution-making Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was installed, which was badly damaged by chaotic elements on Tuesday. It was known about this when the local villagers came out from there, who saw the idol damaged. Due to this the atmosphere in the village became tense. As soon as the information about this came to the police, it reached the spot and explained to the people. Force was deployed in the entire area.
The statue’s right arm and head were badly damaged by the anarchists. However, the police station assured to install a new idol to calm the matter. The station in-charge Dinesh Kuril was told by the villagers that there is a local contract built on a private tube well near the village, due to which there is a gathering of anarchists. He himself has done this incident. The Bhim Army men who reached the spot held talks with the station in-charge, on which the police assured to install the new idol at the earliest with the help of the district administration.
CO Ravindra Kumar Gautam told about this matter that the matter is being investigated. Appropriate legal action will be taken on receipt of Tahrir. At present, the new statue is being installed for peace system.
